Greta, enjoyed the special on tea parties & town hall mtgs. Those people may think they just ordinary Americans, but I think they are 'extraordinary Americans'! I am so proud of them! Boy, no one mentions it, but, except perhaps for anti-abortion demonstrations, it is hard to fire up conservatives to protest as they are doing now. I feel Clinton awakened the silent majority, but we took a Bush nap & Obama woke rather unpleasantly, and I doubt we'll ever fall asleep again!

Well, it appears the Obama team is now ramping up its program to carry out this campaign promise. Maybe Shelia Jackson Lee didn't think she was being rude, but she was whether she meant to be or not. When someone is talking to you about something that important, it is just polite and considerate to give them your full attention, especially when you are the one that is in charge of the town hall meeting. Body language speaks volumes. I wonder if she would have answered the phone if Obama was talking to her - don't think so.
