    THIS IS WHY THE DEMS WON'T INCLUDE THE DOCTOR FIX IN WHAT THEY SAY IT WILL COST

    You need to read below....this letter is from the CBO.

    Do you know what the CBO estimate (score) the health care reform IF we included the so called doctor fix (that is the amount of money that the US government intends to reimburse doctors for medicare.  No one says this reimbursement won't happen...but no one will explain why this expenditure to pay doctors to do health care is not included in the overall cost of health care reform.  Of course the reason is because the numbers won't meet the goals of the President and the Democrats if it is included now in this bill...so they eliminate this expenditure from THIS health care bill and will provide for it later in other legislation.  Is this gaming you? playing with the numbers? Should we not know how much the TOTAL cost is without accounting games? You tell me..

    [By the way, the language to focus on below is the 59 billion added to the budget deficit over the ten years 2010-2019.  This amount takes into consideration the doctor fix - meaning the TOTAL cost.

    This is very different from the numbers we are hearing with the current health care minus the doctor fix (and no one will tell us WHY the dems cut out the doctor fix since we will be paying it. The Dems say their bill, minus the doctor fix, will reduce the deficit by $138 billion over the next ten years.]
