    Senator Lindsey Graham: health care kills chance of immigration reform

    Graham Statement on Health Care and Immigration Reform

    WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on health care reform and its affect on immigration reform.

    "The first casualty of the Democratic health care bill will be immigration reform. If the health care bill goes through this weekend, that will, in my view, pretty much kill any chance of immigration reform passing the Senate this year."

    (one other note -- the above is probably a shot across the bow of the Hispanic caucus which is pushing for immigration reform....)
