  • Oprah and President Obama !

Scores again!  Oprah scores another big interview.

Oprah is interviewing President Obama next week at the White House.  This big interview comes just two weeks after her interview with Governor Palin.

There will be lots of pressure on Oprah in this interview.  There will be a spotlight on her to see if she uses the same tone, same type of questions etc. as she did in her recent interview with Gov Palin.  Oprah will need to decide - her interview with Palin was all personal, and no policy - should she give President Obama a similar interview?    Or, will this one be policy because unlike Gov Palin he IS the President?

Should the two interviews be similar? or not?

I really wish he would just get off my tv screen, even during football we have to see him ,enough already. Why would we watch another lovefest. What can Oprah show us that we don't know already

UNHAPPY

I do not consider an interview with Obama a big interview or a good interview.

Oprah is just practicing getting primed to help Obama in the next election, why do you think she is leaving her show??? Didn't watch the first time, won't watch the second. Too fake and pretend for me! I demand honesty.

wake up america

oprah was run off of T.V. In numbers we boycotted her and we won. Obama and Oprah are the phonies people today. Obama is a fraud. Nobody knows what he did in college if in fact he attended college. He read a script that is prepared for him and he has to carry his teleprompter everywhere he goes. Yes please don't compare him to Sarah!!! Not in Sarah's league!!!!

Refuse to watch

I didn't watch the Palin interview and will not watch the Obama interview. I refuse to watch anything that has to do with Oprah.

Hopefully Oprah gets Obama's teleprompter warmed up because he can't function without it. Oprah will never ask her hero any difficult questions.

It will not matter what questions Oprah chooses to ask President Obama, he is well rounded and educated and he will answer Oprah's questions with ease. Anyway, why would you try to compare Sarah Palin to President Obama. She is just an ex Governor and VP Candidate. She may draw thousands, but President Obama drew hundreds of thousands and millions at his inauguration. Get over it, there is no comparison between the two. Just wishful thinking.

Two winners -- Chicagobama and Chicagoprah. Who cares? It would be more interesting if she included more egomaniacs -- Barbara Walters or Martha or Barbra or Hillary.

Down South Mike

I agree with Fox doing a same time interview by Glenn Beck with maybe Condoleezza Rice and/or Dick Cheney.

Looks like O has chosen the wrong horse. I think her ratings have dropped since backing BO and the interview was probably requested by White House rather than other way around so we already know how it will play out. It has to be personal, O doesn't know enough about policy and neither does BO. With the dismal mess he has caused, he will need the teleprompter to talk for him and of course he will come off as the victim.

Greta Wonderful idea. Have Glenn Beck interview Sarah Palin on the same date as the Big O interviews the BO. They are on the same time of day. That would surely show the MSM what we think of them. Knock it out of the PARK...GO BECK AND PALIN

Will Oprah ask Obama why he has remained silent while the people in Iran are pleading for democracy? Will Oprah ask Obama why he is bringing terrorist to NYC for a show trail? No this interview will be a big joke just like this President.

This will be a different type of interview because O knows that O is in love with him. She will genuinely SMILE (or should I say BEAM?) at him. Unlike the unsmiling face she showed Sarah. That said, Oprah's lover Gayle was very nice when talking about Sarah. She said she liked her and that Sarah is genuinely likable, that you felt her likability within minutes. Yup, Gayle! We know that too!

catchy can

Greta....You honestly can say that a Governor who quit midway in her first term should be on equal footing with the sitting President of the United States? WHAT PLANET ARE YOU ON?

I would never watch Oprah for any reason. All she is going to do is suck up to Bobo.....he is already on TV way, way, too much. No one has to watch Oprah to get to see him.... I hope her new cable network fails!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fairminded

CV in NVReport "Bush" and "eloquent" are two words I thought I'd never see in the same sentence. Someone must be smokin the good stuff. Bush isn't dumb, he just talks that way. On the intellectual level, he (Bush) would love to be as smart as Obama. Hell, he's still trying to live up to his father for that matter."_________I hope you would recognise sacrasm when you see it:)
