It's good to re-visit this horrific politcal failure of the Carter administration. I couldn't help but notice how un-presidential Carter's speech was in some of this film footage. What we have now is many times worse; it is enough to make one's heart break. Our nation is being destroyed from within and we must pray daily for spiritual and moral restoration.
We must create independence and separation from Israel. If we don't we will be the target of Islam forever. Israel and the Jews must find a way to peacefully co-exist within the borders of Judea, leave occupied Canaan, compensate all and likely leave the region in my opinion. The USA, for our national security and long term prosperity must draw strong lines of division with the Jews or we will continue to be included with Israel as a target of Islam. I care about this country & thiswemust do
Too bad Saddam isn't around, there wouldn't be so much talk about Iran! If Isreal attacks it looks like an unwarrented assult, if Saddam kept them at bay it would be one nut job interfering with another nut job. The only one to be able to control the region is dead. And we all know we were able to control SADDAM. But where would we have sent 150000 troops then? AFGHANISTAN?
The general populous of Iran and Persia is much more moderate, well educated and seeks to reach out to America and her allies. As long as we, as people of earth, permit totalitarian rule, we are going to be the subjects of these offenses and of conflict. We need to pull together to support the common person and their goals of peace and prosperity. That is everywhere, inlusive of Persia and the USA. In my view, we have a tremendous opportunity for peace, but we must sever Jews from leadership
Greta, we are on the verge of a new era in Persian and American relations in my opinion. I am not that concerned about the Persian people or about the underlying objectives of its people. Ahmed is a theocratic ruler that is focused on the ambitions of the Islamic Revoluation and returning any lands that were once Muslim back to Islam. This includes the Philippines, Morrocco, Southern Spain, parts of France and the entire northern coast of Africa. It is the Clash of Civilizations realized.

There really is no point in commenting on the Iran issue. It is out of control and mis managed. What concerns me is the White House Party last night. Two unknown persons entered the White house, went past security (if any) and posed for several photos with our VP among others. Very dangerous and a sign of a "party" attitude by Mr. Obama.
