Did the President propose creating the Consumer Financial Protection Agency because other existing govt entities like the Securities and Exchange Commission and Federal Reserve did NOT do their jobs or because the new entity will have new and different powers? I just read more -- per WSJ, the company Chesapeake also "paid 3.5 million to sponsor a basketball team part owned by Mr. McClendon.." and there is more....Chesapeake also bought $177,000 in food from a restaurant McClendon owns half of....and guess what? I just read that Chesapeake Energy Corp's 2008 pay to their Chairman (Aubrey K. McClendon) was 112.5 million dollars. So how did the company do last year? Its shares fell 59 %. I asked for some research on the new head of GM. Since he is not from the auto industry I am naturally suspicious as to whether he is a good choice.
