flying lately?

I just read that Air India is in deep trouble - 3 billion in debt. I just flew to and from India (not on that airline) and I fly all the time so of course that article caught my attention. What airline with huge money problems is not going to cut costs? And that usually means trim safety, right? Jobless recovery

This is not good - we are in a jobless recovery. That means that the stimulus package (which was/is hugely expensive) has managed to help economy grow but not help people get jobs. Why?

Explain this below (and I pose it because I don't fully understand...I have an economics degree but economics is a very slippery subject with many variables...) ....in the 1990's, the highest income tax bracket was 37 %-39% (?) and the economy was soaring!!
