Here is something you might not know but does bring you behind the scenes of the media (and you know how I like to take you behind the scenes.)
When big books are coming out, and before the publishing date, the publisher gives copies to many in the media but embargoes them -- meaning that no one is to tell what is in the book or print it or broadcast it before the actual date of publication. Members of the media make specific agreements to wait until the publishing date to report about the book. Sometimes that agreement is in writing and sometimes not.
If you read about the book before it is published, chances are someone broke his or her word (broke the embargo.) Yes, some members of the media keep their words, and some do not.
I actually think that the publisher secretly likes that some break their word because it creates a buzz which then gets people wanting to buy the book. But....it is breaking your word and in this business, your word is your currency.
Sarah Palin is an honest woman who took on the crooks in her own party. Her honesty scares the daylights out of the democrats because their party is the party of crooks & liars who want to destroy America.

More than a double standard? Male U.S. Senator keeps senate seat, and fails to legislate, instead choosing to write and sell book for millions and fund raise for personal campaign.

No she quit because they where blocking her from doing her job and she keep her word to the people who vote for her if the day came where she couldn't do her job she would step down.People should look into her past and not just go by the news. Bowing is customary is Asian cultures, shown as a greeting and sign of respect.++++++++++++++If he likes to celebrate all the cultures, he might want to acknowledge the American culture where the vast majority want personal (not government) accountability, small government, and low taxes. I've heard a lot about Sarah Palin's book. How does it get to number 1 on the best sellers list if no one has read it. I wodered how it got out and now thank you Greta for telling us.
If we went back to the day of the handshake this world would be a much better place.Greed wrecked everything and took the real morals and values out of what life should be. People look at you and think there's something wrong with you if you have them. And that's why people don't get Sarah. Who ever broke the rule should be fired and the company should be fined.
