I'll agree to paying more health care costs for my pounds over the norm when all men who are on Cialis and Viagra (compliments of the rest of us)pay for their own pills for their enjoyment enhancement! Let's find out what this is costing the rest of us, eh?

Re the obesity issue....have you priced fruits and vegetables lately, either fresh or canned? Not to mention the fact they no longer are packaged as a 16 ounce can. No wonder families eat so much macaroni, noodles, spaghetti and potatoes. It's what they can afford and it fills them up. However, I do think that physical education should be mandatory at least 3 times a week at school with healthy competition like basketball, volleyball, etc or just simple relay races.

As a retired teacher, we see students like Hasan in elementary school. "Show me his Folder". These records are available. His actions/choices are taught to himself and practiced, early on. Contact his teachers. Re.the email question. We attended meetings every year about sending and receiving emails. We were actually told we would lose our job when using email for personal use. Technology allows supervisors access. I also had Muslim students who would not kill others. Does he have an M.D.?

They had traveled from up north to Detroit and were now headed to Florida where one was reporting as MD. On 1st TV interview a gruff man spoke, but the next night all were prettied up,with lawyer. The woman was made out to be a nut.The tactics are learn to fly,be MD etc and infiltrate. ATTENTION: Have FBI,CIA been watching them since approx Sept 2002?

One of the nations biggest left-wing radical labor leaders appears to have almost moved into our White House … Andrew Stern, one of those people that appear to be at the top of Obama’s “People I Love the Most” List, is the SEIU Chief and he made 22 visits to our White House in six months. Did we as voters ever imagine that our White House was going to become the main office for the nation’s labor movement? Did we imagine that our White House was going to become the main office for the ACORN Thugs? Barak Hussein Obama in love with SEIU and ACORN … Well, then again, they did put him in office.

Today is one day we should take a brief moment in time to remember those American soldiers that have died in Afghanistan while Barak Hussein Obama refuses to make a decision on sending additional troop. It does not take three months to make the necessary decision ... it does take three months if you are playing political games. It is truly amazing how easy it is for Barak Hussein Obama to simply watch young Americans die while he shows how inept he is as a supposedly Commander in Chief.

Just to get a new topic, what can be done to STOP sexual predators from killing the children in this country. Obviously the sex offender registry hasn't done too much. I think making a sex crime against a child a federal crime, therefore punishable by death, maybe that would help a little. It's disgusting how some LIBERAL ASS***es can decide that "it wasn't that bad" even though some animal raped a nine year old kid. Let's take this out of the hands of the states and federalize this crime

Hi Greta, How about hearing less about the Murderous Terrorist and more about the heroine that saved countless lives. There is a public Facebook page for well wishers in her name. Kimberley Munley saved countless live by facing down a gunman that shot her and 50 others. She protected our servicemen when they could not protect themselves. She needs our prayers to heal as do the victims of this horrendous attack.

Greta You talked about Lies and quoted Mark Twain. He also said 'it could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native American Criminal class except Congress.' My stolen quote is that figures don't lie but liars do figure. Also President Theodore Roosevelt said this about the Senate, when they call the roll in the Senate the Senators respond with "here" or "not guilty".

Look, I am not in any way smart enough to know if this comment is worth making but if the price of Gold is so high, why doesn't the U.S. Government sell some of it from Fort Knox to get us out of some of our problems. I realize that if we sell too much, then the price of Gold will go down but our Dollar is so low that it might be worth a shot. We have go to get our Dollar up so that products start selling at realistic prices. What good is it being rich in Gold if our Dollar is so low.

GOOD MORNING, MS. BRICK!

Well, no one needs to say anything else - I see that Ms. Brick, the self-proclaimed, missguided, and arrogant know-it-all, has arrived on the blog. She speaks of love for this great country but what has she ever done to show her patriotic love? So many write or speak courageously but what do their real day-to-day actions actually reflect?

Unsustainable debt – This refers to the debt level immediately before additional debt is incurred, which becomes post-unsustainable debt, and eventually bankruptcy. (See California and New York.) Jobless Recovery – This is an oxymoron used to explain why the unemployment rate continues to climb when a “recovery” is allegedly underway. Like touch less sex (e.g., Bill Clinton’s phone sex with Monica), it is existential foolishness that, for credibility, relies on the reasonable notion that unemployment is a lagging indicator of a recovery. But as most often used by politicians today, it’s like saying, “I’m not sick anymore, but I’m still vomiting an awful lot.” Options, Choices – As it pertains to the proposed healthcare bills, these often interchangeable words signal a concerted effort to minimize, and eventually eliminate, options and choices. Affordable – A word that, when attached to a proposed piece of federal legislation, signals that anyone with an ounce of economic common sense recognizes the venture as unaffordable. Transform – In the current political environment it means to socialize, or collectivize, by placing authority to manage the venture under federal government control. It’s often used interchangeably with “reform.” Bipartisan – A situation when 1-3 “moderate” Republicans vote with Democrats. (Used most recently by Obama Press Secretary Bob Gibbs in referring to the House-passed healthcare reform bill as a “bipartisan” effort.) Moderate – A politician with no discernable or consistent political philosophy, although they tend to break Left when not drifting with the wind. Most often used to refer to Republicans. (See Senators Snowe, Collins, Graham, et al.) Lower costs – When applied to federal government expenditures, it means higher costs. Republican Strategist/Democrat Strategist – Underemployed partisan 30-somethings who remain on standby to appear on cable TV news shows where they enthusiastically share their vast political wisdom with the ignorant public before returning to their pizza delivery jobs or entry level positions in marketing firms. Share the wealth – It means to confiscate wealth from some in order to give it to others in the expectation that the others will express their gratitude to the party executing the transfer, or wealth sharing, during the next election. It’s somewhat similar to “redistribution of income,” and is a cousin of “fair.” Pay-go – A hyphenated word that purports to be a linguistic promise of a balanced federal budget when it actually means the taxpayers will continue to “pay” through the nose, and if they don’t like it they can “go” fish. Hope and Change – There are classic comfort words coupled together to enable the hearer to attach their personal fond wishes for the future onto a superior being’s ability to deliver whatever the hearer defines as “hope and change.” The actualization of hope and change lays somewhere over the rainbow, next to the pot of gold, inside the Lost Dutchman’s mine, next to the Holy Grail.

It is beginning to appear that this General Casey that is posing as the Army's Chief of Staff might be part of the Army's Political Correctness problem. Did General Casey sacrifice the lives of Fort Hood soldiers just to be consistent with the Army's distorted idea of political correctness ... maybe.

Zippy the NOWHERE PREZ

During a 60 Minutes interview with Steve Kroft when the stock market was sinking, Obama giggled. He wasn't embarrassed afterwards or apologetic. More worrisome than his bizarre behavior was that he didn't regard it as strange. Then last week, we've faced with a national crisis, soldiers killed and gravely injured by an apparent Jihadist in the guise of a military doctor. When announcing the catastrophe what does Obama do? He drones on and on for three minutes about Native American health issues, even doing a shout out. In a monotone voice, Obama reports that soldiers have been shot. He's nonchalant, flat, as though he's reporting the weather. Afterwards, the opinions roll in. Some say that Obama looks down on the military. He views our soldiers as the great unwashed, trashy and ignorant, like Sarah Palin. Others assert that Obama's sympathies lie with the Muslims. Thus, he wants to avoid our burning questions: Why wasn't Major Hasan put on leave after he made anti-American remarks and surfed the web for information about Jihad? Most importantly: what is the government going to do to keep our military people and civilians safe? True, Obama's disinterest could be related to all of the above. But there's one more possibility: he may not have the foggiest idea what to feel or say or do. He may not realize that after dozens of our soldiers are shot, he should be angry. Sad. Worried. That he should feel something. Or at least pretend to. When Obama isn't prepped and rehearsed, he flails around like a blind man. He's clueless, lost in space.
