Tonight...ON THE RECORD at 10pm ...Senator Lindsey Graham joins us. He says health care reform from the House of Representatives is DOA. Is he right? Watch tonight!
From his mouth to God's ears!! I fear though that this group of liberals will use the tactic of agreeing with everything to get a vote and then reincorporate all of it back! Like Obama's word! It's about getting huge cuts for their personal pockets...they'll just filter the money through Citibk now that Anita is there..like money laundering in Organized Crime.
It is "Un-American" to support the current "Healthcare Reform Bill." Pelosi wants the bill to be a "Christmas present to the American people." More like a Christmas colonoscopy! Individual states should take action and declare that the Federal Government is violating the terms of the Constitution and refuse to implement a healthcare reform law that violates the provisions of the Consititution.
In the interview Sen Graham said the bill was DOA because it had the public option and the only way the bill would get passed is if Pelosi "promised" not to include it in the compromised Senate and House bill, which would only require 51 votes to pass. What if Pelosi and the Dems lie and break their "promise"? Didn't that happen during Reagan's term when the Dems promised to cut spending $3 for every $ the Repubs increased taxes.The Repubs increased taxes $92B, then the Dems broke their promise.
I have been following this Obamacare bill since its inception and I don't believe anything anyone says about it until it actually happens. I want it DOA but I will believe it when I see it. The Democrats have went to too much time and expense to just stop in the senate without a lot of arm twisting etc...We can't afford to let up our guard until we know for a fact that this, Accident waiting to happen, is truly dead.
Why not use a voucher system for health care? The amount of the voucher would be determined by income. The voucher could only be used for purchasing health insurance. The cost would be borne by taxpayers and businesses based on income. Insurance companies would go bananas competing for the voucher dollars driving costs down and every legal American would have health care.

Why you Repubicans want people to die with out healthcare is beyond me! I hate to hear people talk about it any more. I pray every night that God will let all of us have healthcare so we can all live better life. Thank God we got Medicare/Medcaid and Prescription drugs for Seniors. This bill will help seniors so much!!Having all people able to be covered under the bill except a few who will pay the fine whether than get it is so good for our country. Why? Are you all so against people living!
I just ripped up my AARP membership and will mail it to them this week.... I also quit the local group that I went to. I got sick of their one-sided views and that they are backing the healthcare bill. Tea baggers here I come, at least you all make sense. As for Clinton he knows the truth about Obama, everyone is afraid to speak up... vote them out next year... only way they will get the message.
Graham is a nut. He never knows exactly where he is going to stand on any issue. When he makes a stand, then often he does exactly the opposite.

I voted for bill clinton back when, TODAY HE INSULTED A many of american taxpayers, a retired president should never call americans names , calling us ,(tea baggers ) showed he does not respect us all equally. he showed no class today! just because its behind closed doors is no excuse. how they forget ! he lost my respect today!name calling in any form ,from any president is a disgrace . its insulting! it shows non leadership, has bill clinton lost it?has he sold his soul /pride to the left?
Sure hope the HC bill is DOA. But there will be serious arm twisting going on and promises/deals made, so we don't know yet. I don't think anyone can say for certain the bill is DOA.
I hope this bill is DOA for the simple reason that all the debate and negotiation is irrelevent, this bill is awful. Kill this bill, come back to the table, address the real and serious issues regarding health care and start moving things forward in a way that serves all Americans incrementally.
Pre-existing conditions and rescission are 2 issues that could be addressed easily, understandably in a bi-partisan way and done quickly to relieve those Americans affected by these 2 issues.
About the topic... I hope it is DOA. I wish they would go back to square one. Get all of Congress together, practice true bi-partisanship. Bring in State Governors, Hospital Admins., Doctors, Nurses, Ins. Co. reps, Pharma reps, Constitutional Scholars, respected economists, financial analysts and create a program that really will benefit America and provide true healthcare reform. The current bills are bad for us. I am certain of that.
