Gore may have been a Dem VP, but, imo, he was the most pitiful VP. I had heard allegations during Clinton's presidency, that Hillary wanted Gore to simply stay put in the VP home, not say anything, and not to bother the Clintons too much. That was Hillary's choice to make, though.
