Thank you so very much for sharing your pictures of places I will never see. You take very good pictures. Berlin looks so clean and well kept and modern. I feel I have seen real pictures, not what the news wants me to so.
My favorite cities are the livable ones. Accessible. Walkable. Parks. Cultural. Berlin doesn't have the most glamor, but it is just such a city. Your snapshots nicely illustrate that. I love Berlin. London is similar, although more difficult each time I visit. Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Boston. The cities I loathe are sprawled out monstrosities: Milan, Madrid, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington. I try to avoid them whenever possible. In my view, Atlanta and Washington are tied for the worst. /s/ Brick
I am very interested in Germany - have briefly toured there twice. Both sides of my family immigrated to the US from mainly Munich in the early 1800's. Except for the terrible Nazi era, Germany has appeared to be a very properous country with creative and forward thinking citizens. I am very proud of my German heritage.
