Just read Obama's caution about the Fort Hood shooter's motives---to get ALL the FACTs. I think we have all the evidence we need--- dozens of eye witnesses, 13 dead with plenty of bullets to make all the forensic CSI types happy. I think we need to learn how to trust our eyes, ears, and use some common sense, not necessarily inherent in lawyers/ politicians. The spin stopped yesterday. They are here, among us. What more evidence do we need to know who and what the enemy is!?

This guy should have been booted from the service while in Walter Reed. Usually when an officer has bad reports his contract is not renewed. I guess things have changed since my husband retired from the Navy in 1985. The officer ranks are different from the enlisted. Enlisted men just say they want to reup. The officers have to be offered a new contract and that is based on performance and some other things. Walter Reed just sent their problem to Fort Hood.

His cousin said he joined right after high school. He is 39 years old. That means he joined the Army, then went to med school. He was probably in the Army during Desert Storm I if the math could be done.
The few Muslims I've known have all told me the same thing.Though we have freedom, and our constitution,a Muslin is only governed by Islam, the only constitution is the Quran.Even though he may be here in the United States his constitution is still the Quran..If that's true the shooter was torn between his oath to the constitution, and his belief in Islam.
I'd like to know if the killer was wearing a bullet-proof vest. But I am SO GLAD that the police-woman who shot him is still alive and stable. Thank God for that! You go girl!

You always here about "now a bunch of red flags have been raised" after an event maybe we need some yellow ones...! I believe that he choose to do do what he did after being forced into a position of giving his life for his country ( on the front lines) and taking the lives of the enemies in other countries.
