    "alleged?"

On ON THE RECORD at 10pm tonight, I am going to use the term "alleged" murderer/killer -- but not for one second do I think this guy is innocent.  I use that term merely because, from a legal standpoint, he is not yet convicted (that comes after trial and verdict.)  I try and play it straight -- so, at least tonight I am going to use the term "alleged."  Note that by tomorrow I may re think this and change my mind and dump the  word "alleged."  One thing is certain, the use of the term alleged or not by me tonight is insignificant -- what matters is the poor victims and their families.  This is so horrible that words can't begin to capture the pain.

faye2

It is a legal term to be used in the legal system. The use of this term all over the place anytime someone commits a crime is ridiculous and boring to hear over and over again. You and others use this all the time and in the same sentence tell us what he/she did, how they did it, and if and how they might get away with it. Stupid!

Grand Ole Flag

apparently Obama suffers from CRS ( can't remember S*it ! )he meets the usually stupid idiot syndrome. heads up second shooter in Fla. trying to be another copy cat .( then my mate went out to buy something & when returning heard on a loud speaker ,someone speaking in in Arabic from where their major population is in my area . seems either they are scared of reprisals or someones trying to clam them down . don't know which yet!better keep an opened eye towards Arabs today ! somethings starting up

When many witnesses see someone do something they are not alleged. I think it is funny that obama said we should not jump to conclusions ( huh? like he did with the officer and professor?) And they said he didn't believe Muslims should fight Muslims, he should have told that to the whole Muslim world.

Politically Correct

By all means, we must be very careful to protect the Muslim and be "politically correct." Absurd.

This was a act IN TERRORIST AGENDA! How can anyone say this guy has mental problems. He's what RADICAL ISLAM is all about. his cousin saying he's a great American. In my belief a GREAT AMERICAN doesn't kill those defending our FREEDM! Remember the Democrats want his rights read to him. We don't want to have to let him go on a technicality.

One of you either you Greta or Beck, Oreilly, hannity someone needs to ask. Do we need to round all the Muslims up and put them all in one holding area until we get Hussein out of the white House and completed the war ? Like we did with the Japanese. This is why the youth in Iran are protesting, they can see what hate they live in.

Hi Greta, I have a few question's: Martha this morning was talking to a Person from the muslim community, and he said the muslim community condems the shooting at fort hood. My question is how is it that a muslim can run down their own family in a vehicle and another daughter be scared to go home in fear of her father killing her? Did this terrorist at fort hood follow the kuron? This is just the tip of the ice berg. hussein Obama is the leader of the take down from with in...

When I was studying this subject in college many years ago, I remember some of my material saying that suicide is one of the highest among psychiatrists. I don't, however, remember reading a case where they took others with them.

I agree with Delores, Barb, Lynda, Ryan and other's postings about this coward. From what I've seen so far, apparently at Walter Reed he had "problems with some patients". One wonders what those patients said about Islam and its incitement of terrorism.I live in Michigan which has a HUGE muslim population which has taken over whole cities.I KNOW what they say and do.After 911,I began an indepth study of Islam and the haddiths cause I wanted to know about our enemies.NOW IKNOW.WAKE UP AMERICA.

We have just experienced our SECOND TERRORIST ATTACK on our soil, and by someone in our own military! THERE was NO EXCUSE FOR THIS as there were PLENTY of warning signs but our government, OUT OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, did NOT stop this. NO ONE followed up on the internet jihadist postings by this bastard. NO ONE followed up on the many statements made by him to others in the military. Just watch: and NO ONE will call this a terrorist attack either. WHEN in hell will people wake up to ISLAM??

I think there is lots of folks in Walter Reed that have some explaining to do. This man was promoted to Major? If he was having trouble why? Was this because He was stirring up Muslim troubl up there. The men he worked with at Fort Hood this new man was saying so antiAmerican stuff that should have been examined by the military. THIS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IS PROBABLY THE REASON THAT THIS MAN WAS NOT RELEAVED OF DUTY UNTIL HE HAD A PSYCH REVIEW. HE WAS NOT TREATED LIKE THE GENERAL SOLDIER:

This guy is a classic coward. Poor baby-he did not wish to go to war. I would guess his deed will prevent him from going. I heard he is on a ventilator so maybe he will die in great pain. It will cost the people less money if he dies. He learned a lot about being a radical muslim on line. God Bless all the family members of our brave soldiers.

Off the top, intuitively, my take on this is that this smacks as being another "affirmative action" case gone wrong.

Cut thru the crap and say "assassin" and "killer". "Alleged" my butt! The MP's who shot him saw him committing the atrocity.

I assume this is a rerun but at 11:20 PM CST Greta went to commercial and said somthing to the effect she'd have more about these "murders" at Fort Hood. I applaud Greta for not being so liberally biased and politically correct that she used "nicer" words. They were murders and we must take our language back. Thanks. I've had enough of the press being so sensitive they distort the meaning of the stories they report.

The word, "alleged", is far too often misused in the face of the obvious. As a retired law enforcement officer with almost thirty years experience, a certain phrase also irritates me no end. It is "A person of interest"! Where this originated I have no idea, but a suspect is a suspect, and not merely "a person of interest. This must have been coined by some young,over-educated idiot trying to impress somebody.

Listening to Hassan's cousin talk about how his Hassan (the murderer of 12 of our brave Americans soldiers in their home base, not in a combat zone) is a good American. Listening to this propagandist talk about his cousin like a victim is nauseating. At best, Hassan is a coward who accepted half a million dollars worth of education and medical school from the army and then when it was his turn to go to war (defense of the United States is, after all the primary mission of the US Army) he whined and cried and tried to get out of his tour in a stunning display of ungrateful cowardice. He was an Army Major in the medical corps he was not going to be in the infantry on the front lines. At worst, he is a radical Muslim terrorist who infiltrated the US Army either as part of a conspiracy or perhaps on his own initiative to subvert the Army's mission to whatever extent possible. The notion that he was teased or harassed or bothered about being Muslim is likely nonsense. As a Major, Hassan would have commanded the respect of those enlisted men of lower rank and it is unlikely that high ranking officers would engage in that sort of conduct, risking their rank. Even so, for Hasan's cousin to act as though this justifies or even explains in some way shooting 40 unarmed soldiers is disgusting. Hassan should, as soon as practical, be interrogated extensively, tried and then put to death. Anyone, family member or otherwise, who tries to justify this terrorist atrocity should be shunned.

This shooting ordeal is terrible but for the wounded, it couldn't be at a better place. Scott & Whit at Temple and the rest of the medical facilities are the best in the county. God bless our families at Fort Hood, the medical personal and our whole country. This happened at Ft Hood but it happened to us all.

Matt Trott

this is a fraud. this guy is a commisioned officer, he, unlike enlisted men, has the right to resign his commition and quit the military any time he wants. to say he was upset because of a deployment to iraq is rediculous. he could have simply resigned his commision! Gretta, I spent years in the army and considered becoming a "commisioned" officer myself
