    I will take this one!

In this business, many have lots to say about you.....and you need to shrug off the good (yes, the good) and the bad since everyone seems to see things differently and infer lots of motives (good and bad).  On some nights I am described by viewers as "far right" and "far left" for the same interview which of course is impossible.  My thought when I read it is 'go figure' and I just try to do my best.

However....I confess...I like this one... this morning a GretaWire blogger forwarded an article that included my name and described me.

"....to the politically indiscernible Greta Van Susteren..."  [Jamie Weinstein of the North Star National]

Politically indiscernible? I will take this one.  (As an aside, I don't wear a jersey...how I feel depends on the topic.)

Greta, since you don't have a horse in a race, what people interpret is their problem not yours. Of the times I have watched (and no, I don't watch every night) I don't remember you ever politically endorsing anyone even in the smallest way. If being respectful to everyone you interview is demonstrating bias, I'd hate to really see you pull or push one way or the other.

cc:bbpress greta van susteren aka on the record fox newsroom greta, i feel that you or your server bbpress icluding fox has blocked my gretawire.forum account denying me freedom of speech due to the fact that you or bbpress does not agree with some of my comments. you ADVERTISE for your "on the record" viewers go use the forum free of charge to discuss or comment on threads listed there or start their own thread.you do not stipulate to them that you will block them if you do not agree with their comments. I have been using the blog AND the forun together for approximately 2two years or longer. 1F THIS CANNOT BE CHANGED AND THE ACCOUNT RESTORED please understand that i am going to consult a constitutional attorney to see about filing against bbpress, greta van susteren and fox news.you have no user agreement or other information on the forum that sets ANY rules. there are people using bad profanity towards each other and calling names that would make you blush but you do not block their accounts but block mines when i try to do right and do not use profanirty or tryto downgrade the members as some others do; you may want to read the articles below [texasranger] Without free speech no search for truth is possible, without free speech no discovery of truth is useful, without free speech progress is checked and the nations no longer march forward toward the nobler life which the future holds for man. Better a thousandfold abuse of speech than a denial of free speech. The abuse dies in a day, but the denial slays the life of the people, and entombs the hope of the race. Charles Bradlaugh (British social reformer I have always been among those who believed that the greatest freedom of speech was the greatest safety, because if a man is a fool, the best thing to do is to encourage him to advertise the fact by speaking. It cannot be so easily discovered if you allow him to remain silent and look wise, but if you let him speak, the secret is out and the world knows that he is a fool. So it is by the exposure of folly that it is defeated; not by the seclusion of folly, and in this free air of free speech men get into that sort of communication with one another which constitutes the basis of all common achievement. Woodrow Wilson Freedom means the right to assemble, organize, and debate openly. It means not taking citizens away from their loved ones and jailing them, mistreating them, or denying them their freedom or dignity because of peaceful expression of their ideas and opinions. House GOP offers 230-page health bill By ERICA WERNER (Associated Press Writer) From Associated Press November 03, 2009 1:04 PM EST WASHINGTON - House Republicans have produced a health care bill to offer as an alternative to legislation by majority Democrats, focusing more on lowering costs than expanding coverage. The bill is 230 pages long, compared with Democrats' 1,990-page measure. Unlike the Democrats' legislation it has no requirement for people to buy insurance and no prohibitions against insurance companies denying coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions. The Republican bill caps non-economic damages in medical malpractice cases, increases incentives for people to use health savings accounts and encourages creation of insurance pools for high-risk individuals. The Associated Press obtained a draft of the bill. Aides to Minority Leader John Boehner cautioned the measure was not final and changes were being made. Thats the good news, the bad news is the libs want to SPEND 1 triilion!

Fact

The healthcare plan is up to 1.2 trillion, and counting for 2% of the U.S. population! That is according to the CBO!

The big Gap

I can't fanthom how Corzine still has Billions of $'s esp. since BHO wants to distribute the wealth. Maybe the only wealth he wants to distribute is the middle classes. The movie stars are still rich, Soros is still rich, Nancy P's still rich and Barney and Rangel and Geithner and all the other democrats, so what's the deal here. Corzine can not identify with the average American because there's too wide a GAP between his values and the middle class American.

CNN has Fareed Zakaria, who is truly distinguishing himself. Let us not forget Christiane Amanpour, another wonderful journalist. And Fox has . . . Greta?*********** In response: These two mentioned do not have their own show. Think Greta can hold her own with Anderson or any of the others. She goes on assignment herself!

Greta, You do a great job on your show. I know you would have democrats, if they would come. Their loss. FOX has an audience and MSNBC does not. I hope the republicans win all the elections today and send a message to Obama. He is such a do nothing president. He is never in the oval office but off here and there (mostly there). He has waffled on Afghanistan to the point of ridiculous. He needs to make a decision and make one SOON.

Always watch your show,at least most of it, and do not always agree. Overall you are fair, but a bit arrogant sometimes. Notice I only said a "bit" -nothing like O'Reilly! Your interview with George Bush was excellent. I took a shower during Hillary--never believe a word she says. I could live without such as Whoopi too, glad you finally got off Michal Jackson. I do not enjoy tabloid but that is the way I am---you should appeal to a larger audience than me! Good Journalism!

MY Opinion IS...

"CNN by choice overloads their shows with dems including most of their biased reporters who are in the tank for BO." ******************** That's YOUR OPINION. In MY OPINION, CNN is the most balanced cable news network. CNN isn't overloaded with Democrats. They ALWAYS have a "representative" from both sides. Even though MSNBC definitely leans left, they too have representatives from both sides.

by Hans Bader Recently, the Senate voted to ban defense contractors — that is, much of American business — from contractually mandating arbitration of employment discrimination disputes. The bill’s sponsor, Al Franken (D-Minn.), pushed the bill by claiming that arbitration provisions in an employment contract kept Jamie Leigh Jones from suing her alleged rapists. But they didn’t: a federal appeals court ruled the arbitration provisions didn’t apply to Jones’ case, leaving her free to sue in court. Franken’s amendment to a defense appropriations bill banned contractors from requiring arbitration of employment discrimination disputes and sexual assault cases, including “arbitration” of “any claim under title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or any tort related to or arising out of sexual assault or harassment.” The language about sexual assault was irrelevant to most employers: Lawsuits against employers for employment discrimination vastly outnumber lawsuits over sexual assault, which are a tiny fraction of all court cases, so the bill’s real purpose was to ban arbitration of discrimination cases, not to do anything for rape victims. Few rapes occur in the workplace, as opposed to private settings like homes; and even rapes that do occur in the workplace often fall outside the scope of arbitration clauses. (Arbitration does not, of course, prevent criminal prosecution.) Liberal trial lawyers have long objected to Supreme Court decisions like its 7-to-2 Gilmer decision upholding contractual provisions that require binding arbitration of employment discrimination cases, even though arbitrators often rule in favor of employees and consumers, and award them substantial monetary damages (although they do permit plaintiffs less discovery than courts do; on the other hand, arbitration typically results in “lower litigation costs and expenses“). Franken’s amendment largely fulfills their fantasy of banning arbitration in discrimination cases. facts, NOT SPIN!

Hey, I said that last year about you and I get no credit at all! Great show last night, Greta. I really, really like your style! You asked all the questions I would of asked SOS Clinton and her answers were fascinating. I also appreciated your very nice and respectful interview with Pres. Bush. What else is there to say? Keep up the great work and get some rest from your world travels!

Greta: You do a great job. I have watched you grow over the years and your show today is a home run out of the ballpark. Your guests are top notch and the dialogue is great. your questions are not soft-balls but you get right down to the questions I am sitting in my living room hoping you will ask. Thank you. Keep up the good work and I hope Fox rewards you very well!

I watch OTR almost nightly. Greta does well to hide her feelings on political issues. I do believe she is more liberal oriented but becoming more independent.

Good Morning Greta, I have read all sorts of opinions about you but must confess I think of you as a beautiful intelligent and caring woman with her own faults and pluses just like the rest of us. One more big difference is I really think you are the hottest lady in news today.
