The spending includes "smart meters" that theoretically could be used by bribable government officials to throttle back power to the homes of unsupportive constituents.
Not that they actually would engage in such despicable extortion, of course...

I think Mickey & Minnie want to have money to send their children to college, retire securely, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Is enjoying the fruit of you labor a bad thing? Is it the role of government to penalize hard work and thrift?

As a veteran, everyday my heart bleeds for our country, and the warriors that defend us. We must STAND UP for our freedom that so many died for. I am not very religious person, however, I DO believe in the power of prayer. We all need to pray for our country and our beloved troops daily.

Like the prez she is whining and playing the blame game. It isn't flattering. I never heard GWB criticize her husband for decreasing troops and cutting the CIA while the 9/11 terr orists were making their plans during his presidency. They carried out several terrorist attacks, yet he didn't take Bin Laden when offered.
I do hope for the sake of our military things go well in Pakistan. Her plans were quite good but the whining detracted from her mission. They are dems 1st and Americans 2nd.

What a very short time for things to sink to the levels they have in this Country. When interviewing Hillary Clinton. Why didn't you ask her "Why is America proping up democracy in Pakistan when this current Administration is tearing it down in America?"
I can't take it any more. I turned into your show this evening and had to turn it off after only a few minutes. There was Hillary so pompously blaming Bush again by inuendo (for the past eight years). Is that line programmed into the brains of everyone in this administraiton? All they do is play the blame game. Her husband didn't do such a great job addressing issues with the enemy,did he?

I was just listening to your interview with Sec Clinton. I heard her take a jab at President Bush when she said that we should have taken out Bin Laden in 2001 or 2002. What Sec Clinton failed to mention is that her husband did not get Bin Laden when at Bill Clinton was president.
