    home

We are now back home - or will be in thirty minutes. It is always great to be home. These short trips to far away locations are exhausting but fascinating. I am sorry I stopped posting videos in the green oval but I had phone issues that had to do with my data program. I hope that is now resolved - I do know that it worked this afternoon from Berlin so I am sure the problems posting are behind me. Incidentally, if you have not see the videos in the green oval, check them out. They are behind the scenes video. This week is going to be busy - I am still working on a special to air I think this weekend and we have a special two hour show Tuesday/election night.

Esther Arias

Not B. Rhoades The Marxist

That Explains Nothing I've read your opinion (via Sherk) before. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I stand by my statement, this HAD NOTHING TO DO with the rape! Frankin used it as such, but that was deceitful. It is another attempt to enhance the governments role in the private sector! Read the bill, I think Card Check is a potential outcome! I am against Card Check!

Rush LARDball

I taped Fox News Sunday. Now listening to Rush Limbaugh... HE is a piece of work! His first question to President Obama would be, "WHY did you do this?" DO WHAT????? "Bush did this...without the cameras" a LIE that rolled right out of his mouth regarding President Obama's trip to Dover. Neither Bush nor Cheney EVER went to Dover. The sole purpose of the Bush administration for banning photos of returning dead soldiers -- through seven years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq and 4,700 American casualties – was to manipulate public opinion by shielding U.S. citizens from the horror and cruelty of the deaths of young men and women in an increasingly indefensible cause.

Beware of a BO with a Bone

"Many years ago, as a small child, I was told one of those old-fashioned fables for children. It was about a dog with a bone in his mouth, who was walking on a log across a stream. The dog looked down into the water and saw his reflection. He thought it was another dog with a bone in his mouth -- and it seemed to him that the other dog's bone was bigger than his. He decided that he was going to take the other dog's bone away and opened his mouth to attack. The result was that his own bone fell into the water and was lost. At the time, I didn't like that story and wished they hadn't told it to me. But the passing years and decades have made me realize how important that story was, because it was not really about dogs but about people. Today we are living in a time when the President of the United States is telling us that he is going to help us take that other dog's bone away -- and the end result is likely to be very much like what it was in that children's fable. Whether we are supposed to take that bone away from the doctors, the hospitals, the pharmaceutical companies or the insurance companies, the net result is likely to be the same -- most of us will end up with worse medical care than we have available today. We will have opened our mouth and dropped a very big bone into the water." --economist Thomas Sowell

And Now, For the News ....

Now that you are back home with some snapshots to prove you were away but little by way of news, I suggest you hunker down and do some real reporting for a change. A good start: The majority of REPUBLICAN senators who decided that the kidnapping, sexual assault, gang rape and false imprisonment of a woman doesn't deserve serious criminal sanctions and Senator Burr (R-NC) who supports domestic violence being deemed a pre-existing condition by health insurers. /s/ Brick

Annie Oakley the real one

Loved the footage & info from Korea and Islamabad. Was surprised to see you weren't wearing head covering. Are they a bit more "permissive" there? Also cracked up at some footage of you interviewing a congressman. The interview was informative and impressive as always, but the camerperson had the shot angled in a way as to make you look tiny! I know you're small, but not TINY! Glad you are back safe.

Now that you are home I have a job for you and a question. What would be the reaction if Americans did not pay their Fed taxes, like some of Obamas cabinet didn't do, we only pay state, FICA and medicare, our states would stay afloat but the gov would run into trouble. YES??? I think it would be a good reminder as to just who runs this country.

Thanks for the vids in the green oval, kind of gives some insight on traveling to faraway places, Question: do they call you yankee in pakistan or just talk with there rifles?. I dont think woman are viewed as authority figures in the middle east so probably doubly (is that a word?) hard for Sen. Clinton to throw her weight around there, I'll give her some kudos for trying though. Maybe next time they will send you to a less volatile Country, maybe report on the nude beaches in Australia?
