We finally had some free time since leaving Wednesday morning for Chicago...Pakistan....and Berlin. We are now at the airport in Berlin but had two free hours after our President Bush 41 interview and thus headed to a great restaurant in Berlin. And now? At the airport in Berlin (check out the videos posted in the green oval - I think I have fixed my video posting problems.) Some incidental facts: we learned this morning that the hotel we stayed in is where Michael Jackson dangled his child...remember that? We stayed there because Henry Kissinger told me a few weeks ago that it is great place to stay and he was right. We missed Gorbachev by seconds in the hotel where we interviewed President Bush. President Bush told me that he and Gorbachev have become friends (which if you told me that 25 years ago I would have told you that you are delusional.) I am anxious to get back to USA - to get some sleep!

Well the only thing I have to say about the people in N.J., VA. and N.Y. is this. " If they Vote in the same people, nowing what they now know, then they deserve everything they get."
Hope the people in NJ, VA and NY wake up and vote for the person that can help bring the nation back to its greatness. Something is wrong in NJ when the president and his staff must jump in to help Corisine.

Watch this!!----It's a take off on the Nazi takeover in Germany but this story involves aliens from outerspace that come to earth in mass and befriend the populace and gradually take over the country in a totalitarian manner and arrest the scientists, biochemists, and anthropologists and biologists. The took over the media and just about everything. Now the people are rebeling and the telecommunications are being monitored. Does this sound a bit familiar??? It's on all day today until midnight.

At home, every single one of his initiatives is directed at increasing government control in every area, with a corresponding decrease in individual liberty. Here's an incomplete bullet-point list of his anti-liberty goals on the home front:
He wants to deny individuals access to the marketplace --where they can make their own decisions about their own health care -- and instead put the government entirely in charge.
He's willing to give government control over American businesses (e.g., the bank takeovers and Government Motors).
His administration, while on record as opposing the Fairness Doctrine, is aggressively exploring a backdoor regulatory scheme that would have precisely the same practical effect as the Fairness Doctrine: it would impose government restrictions on content, rather than allowing the market (that means us, the consumers) to control content.
His FCC wants to control the internet, a humming beehive of free speech (much of it critical of Obama).
As his loud battles with Rush Limbaugh and Fox News illustrate, he desires a single-party press, not a free one.
He believes that now that he is in power, the opposition should shut up and "get out of the way," a notion that runs directly counter to the First Amendment.
Although he's mostly erased the record that once existed in cyberspace, his dream is to create a civilian national security force, subordinate to the administration, which would be larger than the American military. The military, please note, is controlled by the Constitution and has traditionally existed separate from, but subordinate to, the rest of the American government.
He wants to take away the right to bear arms. He'll pay lip service to supporting the Second Amendment, but his fundamental goal is to use government to remove arms from individuals.
In a stunning blow to the freedom of born alive infants, he is one of a handful of politicians nationwide who believes it is appropriate to leave such infants to die alone and untended. With few exceptions, even those whose politics are entirely colored by a pro-choice viewpoint couldn't swallow this approach.
Without money, people have no choices. The more money the government siphons to itself, the fewer choices we as individuals have. Although he dresses it as fairness (it's "fair" for the "lucky" to pay substantially more), Obama believes that it's government's role to "spread the wealth." That may be "fair," but it's not consistent with liberty, hard work, and individual choices.
Thanks FOX for having Rush on today! His common sense is so needed for our country. Please have him on more often. Beck and Rush are excellent! Thank goodness conservatives have them. I am a proud follower of them both.

Although I doubt that I will ever be what one would call rich (especially if this government continues on its present course), I have always appreciated that I live in a country that I could be if I work hard and "discover" a way to make "millions". I am a lot better off than my parents were and hopefully it will be the same for my kids if they remember what I've taught them.
