    what do you think?

I assume you read the breaking news posted in the previous blog entry....what do you think this means for us? And how will the breaking news effect the President's decision about what we are going to do in Afghanistan. In our interview with Secretary Clinton we discussed the relationship between decisions made in Afghanistan impact other nations....including Pakistan ..and of course us.

Blinded by the leader

Can anyone identify a charasmatic sociopathic personality that's a leader and has alot of diehard believers and many followers?------------- This is the type of person that can gather a cult that most often is very disillusioned by the narcissistic person that they worship and this cult often becomes a distructive force in destroying people's lives by insidiously applying deranged philosophies and ideologies that create upheaval and chaos within the environment. Corruption wil be a problem.

Obama should be ashamed to even appear in Dover. Red faced, ashamed!! He's supposed to be the Commander in Chief. He's a little boy with a big ego. An empty suit. What would you expect from a community organizer. As for afghanastan not being worth anything, every human being deserves to experience freedom. What they do with it when they get it is their choice. I miss President Bush!

Kerry is an idiot and Obama a dolt--can't decide what to do!! Sick Jerk.

“Kerry had an opportunity to put his shoulder to the wheel,” says one outside adviser to Mr Obama. “Instead he chose to sit on the fence.” Sitting on the fence is a luxury Mr Obama cannot afford. But many in Washington, both Democrats and Republicans, are predicting the president will split the difference by choosing to send in 20,000-30,000 more troops rather than the 40,000 or more Gen McChrystal has requested. Following the worst month of the war so far – with 45 Americans killed in October – Mr Obama paid a pre-dawn visit to Dover air force base in Delaware on Thursday to salute the caskets of the returning American dead. Then, on Friday, he held the seventh Oval Office discussion with senior military staff and advisers on Afghanistan – and not necessarily the last before he takes his decision.

Al Qaeda is not some organized army........they are all over the place...it is more like an "ism" than anything......putting our soldiers in harms way without a solid agenda is common sense.......Let's not jump in and waste more precious lives until every military big wig is consulted. I think a decision will be forthright.

If BO's strategy needs a stable government in Afghanistan that is never going to happen and it was a non-starter from the beginning. OUR concern should be our troops and stopping terrorism. That should be the focus.

This Afghan election really has no impact on the President's decision.. He merely used the nearest excuse he could find to cover up his true agenda.. That is to delay a decision long enough to allow the body count to rise.. Then the peoples support will wain and he can pull out like he always planned.. No President should allow such a critical decision to be determined by an outside election.. The situation on the ground determines the needs of our commanders not who sits in Kabul.

Did You Hear???

Obama is pretty dam quick to LIFT THE BAN which will ALLOW PEOPLE WITH HIV AND AIDS into our country. But he can't seem to find time to help our military. Evil, Dangerous Man.

President Obama should set aside his concerns for his image, popularity and legacy and just concentrate on doing the right thing in Afghanistan. President Bush did the right thing eventhough it might not have been the best thing for his political career. He put the safety of America first.

I don't think President Obama can tell the truth about healthcare to save his life. If you were to ask him to tell the truth or die. He'd take the easy way out...He'd die!

Live NewsReport: Cheney/Bush are out frolicking around, now, yet, our troops are still dying. The audacity of Cheney, demanding that others clean up his mess. How do Cheney/Bush sleep at night? We need a clearly defined strategy.+++++++What exactly are you saying - that it's all over obama's head? Isn't it you/your type that keeps reminding everyone that obama is President? And, for sure, a clearly defined strategy is needed - but everyone heard obama say in March 2009 that he had a strategy.

We Americans, especially the ones in DC, don't really understand the complexity of Afghanistan or Pakistan. Even if all the terrorists were wiped out tomorrow, tribal wars within the 2 countries have been going on for centuries and those will never stop. We have to focus on a new strategy, to protect ourselves from the thugs there, but those people do not accept democracy as we know it. We can't force people to live peacefully. We have to have a new game plan. I'm sick of those 2 countries.

Do we accept terrorism as a way of life, they way Clinton did, and continue to have markets, hotels, trains, subways and building blown up killing innocent people? Do we continue a war effort the way Bush did 3 steps forward 2 steps back and the loss of service men and women? Or is there another way? I don't think current terrorists will go away. They are the bully on the playground looking for attention, but their little brothers and sisters may be different, if we get it right.

Afghanistan has no redeeming qualities. It has always been nothing more than a place on the map where barbarians do their thing. They contribute nothing but poppies from which illegal drugs are made--even reason in my book to blow them off the map. Drop the rules of engagement and LET OUR SOLDIERS DEFEND THEMSELVES. God knows that Obama could care less about our military.

all the dithering Obama is doing is feverishly looking for a way out of afghaniatan to satisfy his far left america hating supporters. like the democratics cut off aid to south vietnam to insure the north would control the south leaving the south to be brutalized and many killed, democrats give no thought to the consequences of theit actions. the blame for the revival of the taliban after us. forces routed the taliban after 9/11 should be the fault of nato forces refusing to actually fight.

Dim Liberal Dems

A story from the old Soviet Union helps us understand claims that a jobless recovery is underway. Once upon a time four of the historic leaders of the old Soviet Union were on a train going across the Siberian wilderness: Lenin, Stalin, Kruschev and Brezhnev. (Suspend your understanding of time.) Midway across the wilderness, the train reached the end of the tracks. Construction works were huddled around fires trying to stay warm. They said track supplies were short. Lenin said he’d take care of it. He climbed down the steps of the plush private care the leaders were traveling in, had workers build a simple platform, mounted it, and started giving a rousing speech. He exhorted the crowd to revolutionary effort to advance the cause of the people. They all shouted and went back to work. In a couple of hours the train moved down the track about a quarter mile. Then it stopped. The leaders looked at each other. Stalin said he’d take care of it. He climbed down from the private railcar and ordered that all the track foremen be shot and new ones appointed. Work resumed. The train started up again. Went another quarter mile and stopped. This time Kruschev said it was his turn. He descended from the railcar and ordered that the track behind the train be pulled up and laid in front of the train. He pounded his shoe on Lenin’s platform for emphasis. Later the train began to roll again. This time it went further than before. But then it stopped again. Brezhnev said he’s fix things. He scrambled down the ladder, gathered the new foremen around him, and said, “Comrades, divide your workers into two groups. Line one half along one side of the train, and the other along the opposite. Rock the train from side-to-side so that it feels like we’re moving.” And they did. Inside the railcar Lenin, Stalin and Kruschev marveled at how Brezhnev had been able to get so much track laid in so little time, and at all the distance they were moving across the wilderness. Outside, Joe Bidenchev, a new foreman, encouraged the workers saying, “Look, Comrades, at how many foremens’ jobs we’ve saved.” Okay, the last part wasn’t part of the original telling.

Obama and the Congressional Insane Asylum

Stung by a rising tide of resistance and a closing window of opportunity, House Democrats have unleashed a new version of ObamaCare, weighing in at 1,990 pages and with a $1 trillion price tag. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi promises to ram it through quickly, exhibiting a disdain for her countrymen that makes Marie Antoinette look like a populist. The Democrats are going for broke, which means we'll all be broke if this is not stopped. The "Affordable Health Care for America Act" (HR 3962) is so comprehensive that it even micromanages restaurant menus and vending machines. That's a clear signal that this is not about health care. It's about whether the people of the United States will allow power-mad Washington politicians to plunge us into the kind of top-down socialism that is strangling Western Europe and has devastated economies and destroyed freedom wherever it is imposed. President Obama promised "transparency" and that any bill would be written in public. That was a lie. This monstrosity was hatched behind closed doors. Obama further promised that his health care initiative would not "add a dime to the federal deficit," which he has already tripled since taking office. It was another lie. No one can honestly believe that a gargantuan takeover of the nation's $2.5 trillion health care industry will save taxpayers money. No government program results in savings. Each one grows exponentially; creates dependent constituencies that lobby for yet more tax dollars; and empowers bureaucrats for whom mission failure ensures more staff, more money, and more power. There is simply no governing restraint such as a profit motive or anxious stockholders. The voters? Surely you jest. They are far, far away and kept in check by a compliant leftist media. At least, so far.
