just talked to a friend ...

I just called a friend - in her 90's - who lives near Green Bay. I am curious what people think about Bret Favre returning to Green Bay tomorrow to play against the Packers. She told me the game is late - three thirty - which means that there will be long tail gating parties which can spell trouble (too much to drink.) I am sorry I will miss seeing the game (I should be on a plane back to USA by then.) There will be lots of broken hearts for many reasons tomorrow in Green Bay. Will the fans cheer or boo Favre?

I think more people will be cheering him than booing him. And I hope he sticks it to his old lying coach and GM and pins another loss on the Pack. Not the fans, not the players... but the GM and Coach. Farve said it himself.. THEY ARE LIARS and not worthy to walk the same ground as Lombardi. Or Farve for that matter~~~!!!!!

OK Greta, Favre or Greenbay? The way I'd look at it is I hope it's a good game, players don't get hurt, and Favre gets respect for the years he spent there. Who to cheer for, well you I'd cheer for the home team, and hope Favre plays well. --------

There are still plenty of Brett lovers here in Wisconsin. Just was at the mall in Madison and was told by one store that Brett Vikings gear is outselling packers gear 25-1. Our family has been long time packers fans but will be at the game in purple to cheer for #4. He was forced out of Green Bay and just wanted to play. It's shameful the way he has been treated by the Packers organization and the Wisconsin media.

The only thing the last couple of years have done for Favre is tarnish his reputation. I feel for the Jets who really suffered from his 2nd retirement fiasco and got nothing out of it...Tomorrow Viking fans should cheer for the Vikings and Packer fans for the packers and not just for a quarterback who is only 1 player of many on 2 teams...

I am a true Brett Farve fan! I think that anyone who is a true fan will not boo him tomorrow. Instead we should wish Brett well on his new team!!!

I'm a Packers Fan because I'm from Wisconsin, and always will be, but on the other hand, Brett Favre is my favorite quarterback and I wish him all the best. He has done so much for the Packers and Green Bay and he should get a great reception, like a standing ovation, or I will be disappointed in the Green Bay fans.

Bret Farve reminds me of the athletes from "my era"...Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Walter Payton, Roger Swan, Joe Montana, etc. I hope they don't "boo" him. The guy is an unbelievable athlete. Bret has the passion. You can't teach that to a person. He deserves a standing ovation. jmho.

Boo. Favre is a traitor, he lies and is not who I support. I am from Wisconsin and a proud Packers Fan. True Fans cheer for and support our team. I want us to win, not our former QB to win. Vikings are and always have been the enemy.

greta...you may need to cover news stories at home because.....

the conservatives are gearing up to take our nation back to its conservative roots...THANK GOD...time to rid ourselves of the rino's and liberals....A NEW DAY IS DAWNING....

There will be a mixture of booing and cheering...mainly booing. Generally we put Packers first, Brett Favre second. As a Wisconsinte and fellow shareholder I want Brett to do well, but not against the Packers. In order to prevent another loss against the Vikings, Cheeseheads will try and get inside Brett's head. We'll see if that works for or against them.

Greta, Terry Bradshaw interviewed Favre and it was a very interesting conversation between the two about his return to his old stomping grounds. I enjoyed listening to Favre and looking forward to a big win by the Vikings. bet they go to the Super Bowl.

Sticking to the topic: Last Sunday The Steelers and Vikings played a great game. Farve looked great also, but the Steelers won. I think the Packers do have a chance, and could win. With Farve playing against them,it will give them more will to win.

Hey Greta, the World Series is going on, why would anyone be watching football ? Get with the program !

I Don't Know

And couldn't care less. If I never hear the name Brett Favre again it will be too soon.

Not sure how Hillary did but apparently Greta didn't solve any problems either.

I'm waiting for Obama to name a pay czar for the "athletes" and movie stars. You know, they contribute SO much to society (when they're not in jail or visiting Hugo Chavez).
