The whole "gays die young" thing is the brain child of Paul Cameron, a debunked "doctor" who was kicked out of various medical societies, and whose anti-gay research, the Southern Poverty Law Center says, has "echoes of Nazi Germany." The SPLC also labels Cameron's organization a "hate group.
Wal-Mart among others takes out mega insurance policies on its employees, cashes in if they die, and complains if their death rate is not high enough.

I guess they figure since healthcare reform won't be enacted to at least 2013, if ever, they can make a killing(no pun intended) off the 45,000 people a year dying because they don't have healthcare.

The move follows a similar one by discount rival Costco, which also sells caskets on its site.
Wal-Mart, based in Bentonville, Ark., quietly put up about 15 caskets and dozens of urns on its Web site last week.

i hear kansas is working on legislation to opt out if/before the bill is passed. why not have a provision of opting in rather than the harder to do..opting out?
I swear these people, ie Pelosi, Reid, etc. dance with one leg. They obviously think it's a dun deal because they've already started the cap and tax leglislation. Then there's the hate crime bill Oduma signed today. Think we need to insist on one for when Muslim extremists he brings over here from Gaza start killing us?
