Would it not be great to cure epilepsy?

As noted in prior GretaWire postings, I went to an event last night in Washington - the focus? To encourage people to find a cure for epilepsy....and / or a treatment for those who already suffer from it.  It is great when people like VP Biden lend their star power to events (he must be jet lagged since has been "on the road")...and when families (here the Axelrod) share their heartbreak in hope of helping others.  Lauren Axelrod has epilepsy and has really taken a beating by it during her 28 years.  When you meet her, you want to do anything you can to help. She is extraordinary.

Incidentally, I don't know about you, but I much appreciate it when everyone joins forces to work on a problem.  I loved it when we were able to follow former First Lady Laura Bush around the Middle East on a breast cancer awareness tour.
