Everyone will read this: Clinton / Palin !

In the next 8 weeks a book is coming out that I am anxious to read.  My guess?  So will you!

The book is  NOTES from the CRACKED CEILING.

The author is the Washington Post's Anne E. Kornblut. The book is about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Former Governor Sarah Palin and 'what it will take for a woman to win.'

I don't have many details about the book...but it includes discussion about the media's coverage of both women candidates.

I was able to secure a copy of the book cover to show you  (see below.)

I have already advance purchased the book (I told you I am anxious to read it. If you are likewise anxious, click below.)

Thanks, Greta, for letting us know about this. I was a HRC supporter that couldn't believe the Dems backed Obama. So I, like many others, switched to McCain, and was thrilled when he brought on Palin. Of course, having been through the primaries, I and other HRC supporters knew what the obots would do to Palin, and they excoriated her. I may not agree with all of her ideas, but I respected her achievements, and I was appalled at the sexism leveled against her by the Dems.

I just got a response to my view ad opinion from yesterday. To that person who is putting Fox down, are you kidding me? Obama sucks as a president! Hannity, Beck and all the rest of them tell it like it is. The truth hurts! How can you not believe in what they have exposed? All of Washington is corrupt, but little by little Fox is showing us who can be trusted and who can't and I thank them for that! You Rock Fox News!

I Wonder

I have no interest in either of these books. I would like to know if there are any hard feelings between Anne Kornblut and Savannah Guthrie after Savannah "stole" Kornblut's husband.

The MSM has had a great time with the Katy Couric interview where she asked Sarah Palin "what type of news do you read?" I wonder how many know that "I will get back to you on that," is Alaska speak for "get lost with your crap?" Couric hoped she would have rambled off a bunch of conservative newspapers. the bible or a religious paper etc.that they could have used against her. It was a nice save by Sarah. Do people really think she couldn't have named a few newspapers? Time to get real

First get rid of the lying fringe media. I mean they are still lying about Palin. The other day on the TV I heard some woman in the news saying that Paliin would not appear on the Oprah show during the election but she is now going on Oprah to promote her book. It was the other way around. Oprah would not have Palin on her show during the election becasue Oprah supported Obama. The lying Fringe media. It is a liberal disease.

Backing 3rd party canditdates is not the way to win. Becoming a 3rd party candidate is not the way to win. Making pronouncements on facebook, with no questions and no discussion is not the way to win; rather it's a very dictatorial, soviet-style way of promulgating her views.

a sign of weakness

A female cannot crack the "glass ceiling" while complaining about the way she is "treated, aka having her surrogates do the complaining.

I simply do not care about cracked ceilings. Hillary and Sarah will continue to be in the spotlight for the rest of their lives. They have it made.

I have already ordered Sarah Palin's book and can't wait to read it. Hillary sold out, but I did like her.

Palin got the "Fox is not real news" treatment from team Obama early on. They did the same thing thing to discredit her. Unfortunately for her she did not have the voice that a major news agency like Fox has so they pretty much ate her up. The worst thing is even a lot of people on the right bought a least some of the marginalizing propaganda as well. If we look back at the 2008 campaigns, Palin was the only one right about everything including Obama's tendency to surround himself with radicals.

I am so sick of all the Palin bashers. As far as Hillery, she might have been better than Obama. My friend has a sticker on her car that reads: My dogs are smarter than a democrate! Do you know how many people stop to ask where she got that! I wish I had a nickel for every person that either made a good comment about it or wanted to know where to buy it! I suspect with all that Fox News has brought out into the open there will be a huge change in Washington a year from now. Yippee!!!

If it is another bash Sarah book - count me out, I'll wait for a review of the book! Although I'm not a Clinton fan, she would have been better than BO or Biden. She has been treated terrible by BO of course he and Kerry are "appeasers-in-chief" and Biden doesn't have a clue. Hillary is tougher than either of them and smart enough to know this world is not a safe place.

I have no interest in either one of these women. One I dispise (Clinton) and the other while my views are similar to hers, I have no interest in learning about. So I won't read or buy this book. Maybe we should keep our minds focused on what is happening in the world not past events.

Margaret Thatcher is whom I would like more women in politics to emulate. Not that she is perfect but she blended a good image with knowledge and diplomacy.

I will not buy the book as I do not have time to read it. I will check the library in a few years for it. I may have more time for it then. It does sound like it will be a good read if she doesn't trash either women. I feel both women have good points to bring to the table however nothing will cause me to vote for Clinton as I didn't care for her as senator from my state.

Michelle Obama/Condi Rice Ticket for President

If you want a woman president in the white house you will have a better chance with women of color like Michelle Obama Condi Rice, Justice Sotomayor would all make a good president. Nancy Pelosi is perhaps the best choice. Hillary could not ride in on Bill and McCain could not ride in on Sarah. Women must get their on your own the way Obama did. The nation is tired of the same old white faces. Colored or mixed race people would probably have a better chance due to racial dynamics in America.
