That said, the very fact that the Wall Street Journal published an op-ed by Rush shows how far that paper has fallen since News Corp. bought it. Rush is an expert in nothing, has no experience in anything except blowhard braying. His goal is the same as Sharpton's - self-promotion. He has nothing of value to say.
Both Sharpton and Limbaugh are disgraces.
Let's put this in perspective. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar franchise. Rush is just a multi-millionaire. The NFL will be just fine without Rush. Hell Oprah could buy and sell Rush - She is a multi-billionaire and could easily buy an NFL team. Come on. Your love of Rush has truly clouded your thinking.

Most professional athletes, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc. are conservatives, vote Republican, run for office as Republicans if the run.
The whole stink up over Rush Limbaugh and the NFL is simply means that perhaps many truly conservative Republicans are sick of being associated, by the rest of the country, with bigotry. Rush Limbaugh is not a conservative, his claims not withstanding. Conservatives believe in personal responsibility; however, Rush Limbaugh simply represents uneducated, angry white men who insist on blaming everybody else for their social and economic impotence.

Oxy Boy stepped out of his self-created world of bigotry, hate and invective and attempted to participate (if only to make a buck) into the REAL WORLD of normal people - and was unceremoniously REJECTED.
Taken one step further it is quite clear that Oxy Boy's ENTIRE persona is being rejected by the country at large, and his racism is just one small cyst on his cancerous ideology.
And for this I celebrate the beginning of his end.
