John Kerry is an idiot and lied to get medals in Viet Nam. Nobody should listen to him. Obama can't vote present as he always did as a congressman and is putting our brave troops in danger while he sits on the fence. Obama is showing the world both our friends and enemies that he is a coward and a very weak president and that gives our friends worry that we can[t be trusted and our enemies laugh and get bolder. Look Obama send troops NOW or bring ALL our brave troops home. You are not a leader

Why doesn't Kerry just shut up, retire to one of his many homes in Europe & live off his wife's money. (I forgot that he will get a huge pension & Cadillac healthcare) Thank God he didn't get to be President. Nobama is bad enough. I just hope we can survive through the next 3 years without a lot of suicides of people who feel they have nothing to live for. I don't believe Nobama really knows the dire circumstances of some of our people.

Obama is all about the speech or the meeting. He is not about decision making or leadership. I worked for people like him, all meeting and BS, no action. Remember, there are consequences attached to actually leading and or making a decision. Barack has the fancy to wield the knife, but not the stomach for the blood.

I'm an Independent and I say Senator John Kerry is wrong because if more troops aren't sent to get the situation under control then all the work that we have done in Afghanistan will be for nothing. We do however need a stronger plan to hunt down, bring Osama Bin Laden to justice. I also want to thank Canada and The UK as they have been giving us the most help in Afghanistan and sticking by us. I think it's time to vote Democrats out. It's a close race here so help this one out pavia2009.com

Where are all the Trolls and Obamabots? It almost sounds like a bunch of Americans here tonight!

I believe it is hard to fight any war when all the people are not on the same page. Heck THE president has a difficult time even expressing who he thinks the enemy is.

NO NAME

Blacks think of this as just another WHITE MAN'S WAR! So why in the world would Obama do anything that is right? After all we know how Obama and Michelle feel about "WHITEY."

I wouldn't believe Sen Kerry if my life depended on it. I do believe the President has screwed around too long and any advantage we might have had has been lost. We are now fighting a war of corruption and greed. I now believe that the more money we send to fight this war that the longer it will last. It now seems to me that Afganastan wants to keep the war going as a means of income. The longer we fund the war the more money they make from it. We need new strategy.

senator kerry, he has backstabbed again! to our troops and thier families, not to mention the general who knows his job better than him. he is a traiter to his countryin a socialistic liberal way. thank god he was never to become president! we can pray obama is not listening to congressmen and left liberals to strongly. our country desserves to be protected. kerry needs to go drink his wine and eat his fish eggs and cheese and leave his opinions to himself.

Success in Iraq???

"...Obama voted against everything and yet he has yet to acknowledge the success in Iraq..now this? scary."***************Success in Iraq? Is the "war" in Iraq over? Did the U.S. win the "war"? Iraq is a "war" that was started for NO REASON, which cost BILLIONS of DOLLARS and THOUSANDS of lives, U.S. troops have been there for EIGHT LONG YEARS and are STILL there...lives are STILL being lost. I would hardly call that a success. Obama got it right when he voted against that fiasco.

GENERAL MCCRYSTAL IS IN AFGANISTAN 24/ 7 , HE'S THE EXPERT!.

OBAMA HIRED HIM TO RUN THE WAR IN AFGANISTAN, NOT JOHN LOSER KERRY!.

October 17, 2009 at 9:38 pm

Listening...

"Obama chose this general...why isnt he listening."***************Yes, President Obama chose this general. YOU don't know that Obama isn't listening to McChrystal. There are serious decisions to be made which involves more than sending more troops. It's President Obama's decision to make. He needs to be sure he makes the right decision...the best decision for the United States.

Whatafarce

Kerry should be forcibly removed from the Senate and either locked up for life or deported to . . .oh, let's just say North Korea.

October 17, 2009 at 9:31 pm

Come On Now

John Kerry sold out some of his Vietnam buddies. What nerve of him to say too soon to send more troops. He is a loser like his buddy Obama who he promoted so forcefully. The Democrats are the worst. I hope they never see power again for decades. They are such an unscrupulous bunch of characters. This country is awesome. But it is deteriorating day by day under the majority of the Dumbocrats. we will fire all of them. Unfortunately it can't come soon enough.

"DC", WAR, and WE THE PEOPLE

"We send our soldiers into war and then those on the hill tie their hands behind their back. ...DC needs to stay out of it and keep their mouths closed."*****************”WE” (the people of the U.S.) don’t send our soldiers into war. “DC” (the president of the U.S.) sends our soliders into war. The president of the U. S. is the Commander in Chief of all U.S. military troops. “DC” (Congress) has the power to DECLARE war (Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution ). Despite the constitutional requirement that Congress declares war, in practice, formal Declarations of War have occurred only upon prior request by the President. The United States of America has formally declared war against foreign nations five separate times….War of 1812; Mexican-American War; Spanish-American War; World War I; and World War II. It’s impossible for “DC” to “stay out of it and keep their mouths closed”.

Mary Ann Hip Hip Hooray for you millertime. If Dave gets his draft papers some day, he'll run like a baby. ^^^ Thanks. About the Draft, I remember hearing Charley Rangle and few other big name Socialcrats demanding President Bush reinstate the Draft, so would not be surprised if Reinstated. I mean I'm sure they were serious. Liberals under Clinton REDUCED our Military, In a Hot war, they may be forced to reinstate the Draft, or Surrender. Remember more Unemployed weekly they may want to hide

Military Mom

Greta, It isn't likely I would be listening to much of the garbage Kerry spews, but definately not in the area of military. This is a man who lied to get awards he did not deserve, came home, testified against others actually fighting in the war, in his efforts to get into politics, then gave aid and comfort to the enemies by protesting with Hanoi Jane. The only people who care about what he thinks are the idiots who keep electing him, because Massachusetts apparently hasn't got anyone better.

Obama chose this general...why isnt he listening... This is not a classroom assignment Obama...THIS IS THE REAL WORLD....THIS ISN'T HOLLYWOOD OR THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL....THIS IS THE REAL WORLD....Wonder how he will find a way to blame Bush again for his indecisiveness???....he just doesn't want to take responsibility for anything except what he chooses..well President it is your show now..stop with the blame game...
