We went on a mini road trip to the US Senate today and as we left, we passed the Senate parking spaces closest to the Senate (which I assume are the spots for the most senior members of the Senate or of the majority party???) I noticed the types of cars parked there......ordinarily it would not attract my attention, but with the government getting very involved in the auto industry, I thought you would like to see what I saw:
(and yes, some foreign car automakers build cars here in USA plants...)
What can you say about these uuuuh..folks. NOTHING changes. Buy AMERICA< support AMERICA. nice and shinny, I wonder who washes them. AMERICAN CITIZENS.
Incredible! And if those 'leaders' we have are all about their foreign vehicles---- no wonder we don't have US Auto makers in the black. All I have to say is thank God for FORD MOTORS!
a lot of people are talking about reducing governmet control and Greta is wonderful in her reporting to let us know what is going on in Washington. How are we going to make sure that government is reduced and the constitution is retained in our country?
Interesting survey. I once surveyed an employee parking lot of a U.S. auto maker. One in twenty cars in the lot were made by the factory they worked for.
Your survey only shows another evidence of congress' interest in the U.S.A. economy. I cannot be too critical. I own a Honda, Plymouth and Ford and drive the Honda most because of gas milage. What do you drive Greta?
I have not owned an American car since early 70's. They were junk then and still are. Never the less you would think these two faced congress people would at least make a show of putting their money where their mouth is!
There used to be a time when business folks drove American cars because they called on American businesses. Why aren't our government officials supporting American workers?
THANKS GRETA FOR BRINGING WASHINGTO TO US. LOVE YOUR VIDEO ABOUT THE CARS PARKED AT THE SENATE. THANK YOU ALSO FOR PERSONALLY REPOROTING FROM THE HOUSE OF CONGRESS... WE WANT TO HEAR FROM THE "HORSES' MOUTH" .. I'LL SAY SOME ARE NOT STALLIONS.
