First, yes, I would like to interview Halderman's lawyer (Halderman is the one who is accused of blackmailing David Letterman.)
Second, I just watched an interview the lawyer did. What a lousy idea it was for him to do the interview! Either the lawyer needs to brush up on how to handle the media or he needs to keep the lid on. He sure did not help his client. Sometimes it is really smart for a lawyer to talk to the media...and sometimes ??????
Why didn't Letterman's lawyer tell Haldemann to bring his lawyer to their meeting? If both lawyers had told Haldemann the legal problems it cause him to accept a check from Dave, he would not have pursued the matter. Dave, love'em and leave'em, Letterman could carry on undetected seducing his staffers. Letterman could have kept this out of the public eye. He looks every bit as stupid as Haldemann.
I love Dave in the hot seat(no pun intended). He has made many undeserved jokes about Sarah Palin. What goes around comes around. I hope Palin gets together a top ten list for Dave. Wouldn't that be justice served?
