Hello Greta,
On behalf of all Hondurans that support and defend our Constitution I would like to take the time in thanking you for interviewing President Micheletti. We've been trying so hard for the American people to hear us out about the true facts of what happend and what is going on in our beloved country. I would also like to say that what President Micheletti stated on your show is 100% accurate. Zelaya violated our Constitution and broke the law. He was no longer president when he was arrested. It's time for the people of the world to know truly what is going on and hopefully this interview is a great start for us in fulfilling that purpose. Zelaya is giving this nobel country a very bad image and rep. We Hondurans feel embarrased and ashamed for all the lies he's been telling in every single interview or speech he gets to make. We pray to God that the elections being held in November will finally put an end to all of this and we hope that the true Americans will recognize our newly elected president arising from those legitimate elections.

Subject: the situation in Honduras
Dear Ms. Van Susteren,
I am a U.S. Citizen (originally from Buffalo, New York), who, for the past 25 years, have lived in Tegucigalpa and other parts of Honduras.
I want to simply thank you, Ms. Van Suteren, for taking the time to air your interview with President Roberto Micheletti. I understand Honduras is a small country of little importance to the United States, now that there is no contra war and other civil wars in Central America as was the case in the 1980s. Back then, Honduras was basically the U.S.S. Honduras, the center of our operations on Central America.
Former President Zelaya had been warned by the Honduran Supreme Court that what he was doing (trying to reform the Honduran Constitution in order to stay in power) was illegal. On Sunday 28 june, 2009 Zelaya found out (albeit the hard way) that no one is above the (Honduran) law.
President Obama, Secretary of State, and on a local level, U.S. Ambassador Hugo LLorens are committing a tremendous error in the way they are treating (Castigando) Honduras. What the Honduran people have done is similar to what our country did 233 years ago. Our founding fathers even signed a declaration stating: "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive..., it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."
Once again, Ms Van Susteren, thank you for your professionalism in giving President Micheletti (and the Honduran people) a chance to go "on the record."
