7:14pm...good news (at least for me!) We got Snow Leopard to work! We are out of Apple hell...and now Apple heaven?

I am in Apple hell....I just installed the new Snow Leopard software....and now? I can't do anything. I tried to log onto the internet via Safari (which would also allow me to get my mail so that I could send a message to someone to help me) and the message I got is that I have the wrong version of Safari so I can't send a message explaining my problem. Wrong version of Safari? My Mac laptop computer is not that old...less than a year! So then we investigated...and there is a Safari 4 to upgrade to...we tried that..we tried to upgrade to Safari 4..but ran into more problems....the computer says it won't save Safari 4.... the problems are growing.
My assistant is going to go to the Apple support line to fix...I suggested she just ask, "how do we go back to the old operating system?"
