Last time a stimulus bill was passed - February - almost no one (maybe no one) in the House or the Senate actually read it! They just voted! UGH! They had no idea what actually voted on - they just voted. The excuse? There was not enough time to read it and that this was an emergency to get it passed and the money dispersed. (Of course it has not missed my attention that it was a big hurry up and now 5 months later only 10 % of the money has dispersed...so I guess there was not such a big rush, right?)
Now there is a discussion that there might (not will) be a second stimulus package this fall. So here is an idea: plan!! Congress should plan sufficient time to actually READ AND CONSIDER anything they are going to pass (or shove down our throats ?)
