I see that CNN is getting some heat and being made fun of for airing a segment about finding Michael Jackson's chimp Bubbles. Let me make 3 short points: first, I love animals and confess to having an interest (admittedly small) in Bubbles (who would have a personal friend for a chimp and what happens when the chimp grows up and gets aggressive?) and a short segment does not seem so wildly out of line.... two, I am capable of doing a dopey segment on a chimp so really can't criticize someone else for it...and finally, it was only one segment and like Fox, they do 24/7 news so it isn't as though one segment is a huge investment of their time. So to the critics: give it a rest. You can have some light fun with it but then let it go.
