Remember Judge Larry Seidlin? He sure was not dull.....he was the judge who presided over the Anna Nicole Smith hearings in Ft. Lauderdale when just about everyone was fighting over Anna Nicole's body...well...there is news tonight for the judge:
Anna Nicole Smith judged cleared of wrongdoing
MIAMI (AP) -- Authorities say the former Broward County judge who presided in the dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's remains has been cleared of any wrongdoing, after allegations that he accepted bribes.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office announced the results of their investigation on Tuesday. Judge Larry Seidlin, who left the bench in 2007, is best known for his emotional displays while presiding over the debate on where to bury model Anna Nicole Smith's body that year.
Last year, the Broward State Attorney's Office said it received a complaint from a lawyer who said Seidlin had solicited gifts from another attorney who represented clients in his court.
The issue has been referred to the independent agency that looks into alleged misconduct by judges.
