Last night was the last of 8 annual media holiday parties thrown by VP Cheney and Mrs. Cheney. It is going to be odd after 8 years to have a "changing of the guard." I had the same feeling 8 years ago when we went from the Clinton Administration to the Bush Administration. After 8 years, it seems strange that it all changes...so last night, I made a quick trip across town...went in to the party....said hello to everyone (including the hosts) ..and then left to go back to work.
