my Dad worked for GM for 30 yrs., retired, passed away; I had to pay for his funeral because he had to keep borrowing from his insurance to make ends meet. My Mom receives his pension. I tried to buy a GM car, I was denied credit although I was accepted credit to purchase a Mazda before it was bought by Ford; I also purchased a Nissan after being denied by GMAC the 2nd time; I now own a Mazda & Nissan but wish I had a GM car just because my Dad got up every morning at 4:am to go to Body By Fisher in Flint, Michigan for 30 years, he started at the age of 19; passed away 3 years after retirement. I tried to get a job at Nuvell Fin. Svcs. owned by GMAC but was turned down but I got a job at NMAC/Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. as a car loan processor. We are a automobile working family with my husband working in the industry, 2 of my 5 children working in the auto industry; I have tried to work with GM but GM has continually worked against us and I would like GM to bail my Mom out!
