Dave! Get a hold of yourself!! Your imagination needs taming! (yes, this is funny ...)

A friend emailed me the article below and the two of us could not help but laughing about it since we know the TV critic's motive.......so I thought I would some fun with and post this.  I know from talking to people that the TV critic - Dave Zurawik of the Baltimore Sun - hates me for whacking him once before when he took an unfair  swipe at me so he just keep trying to whack me (I am supposed to take his silly whacks?  I don't think so...but I will have some fun with him.) I don't take his criticism personally - frankly I am on TV, he isn't.  You know...those who can, do...those who can't, are TV critics...ouch!

...so what is the fun? he is hallucinating...or he has some psychic powers....or maybe just  imagining things about me....check out what he wrote:

"....Greta Van Susteren all but rubbed her hands together in glee as she talked about former President Bill Clinton agreeing to release the “vast” list of names of people who have donated to his foundation...." click here.

I "all but rubbed [my] hands together in glee ...about former President Bill Clinton agreeing...." to release his donor list? huh?  rubbed my hands together in glee? Where does ol' Dave get that?  Hallucinating? Fantasy ? Yes...he gets that one place...his imagination. Weird, huh?

If David Zurawik were HONEST about his reporting about ON THE RECORD at 10pm on this topic he would have reported that I was concerned with the privacy issues of donors (no mention of glee or rubbing hands together...that is Zurawik's fantasy...what he imagines was going on in my head...go figure! Dave, get a hold of yourself!)

Here is the transcript: (called the facts...no imagination here, Dave!)

VAN SUSTEREN: Now, how happy is that going to make the donors?
Because a lot of people give anonymously because, first of all, they don't
want to get hounded by -- you know, if you find out someone gives $50,000
    to something...

    RUCKER: That's right.

VAN SUSTEREN: ... suddenly, you're going to get... 200,000
phone calls for more money. I mean, when these people gave the money, was
the expectation it would be private?

VAN SUSTEREN: I don't think they're going to be very happy, these
donors. But wait and see how many of them squawk and whether they give any
more. All right, now, are there any other agreements or any other changes
    in president...

But what was not funny in his silly column is this: a TV critic, who has never represented people taking a gratuitous swipe at a Governor (maybe a woman thing with Dave?) who dared to not have his politics.

Here is what he wrote about Governor Palin in the same article:

"...It is hard to not cover Palin as a bit of a cartoon character. But the press has to try to do so. It must also never forget that as comical as Palin might now seem, how willing she was to take presidential politics to a dark and dirty place of innuendo and smear that even her own presidential candidate, John McCain, ultimately felt the need to denounce...."

You all know that I don't like the gratuitous slaps at women - I think it wrong.  I have defended against the same type of gratuitous slaps at  Senator Clinton and other women. It is important to criticize politicians - including women - for policies etc...but don't just be lame and follow the herd of the media.  Do some real reporting...find out what she thinks, supports, etc...and then criticize.  I bet Ol Dave never did his homework on this one!

So who is Dave the tv critic since you don't see him on TV? Here he is: (and yes, I know I am giving him free promo ...but this is funny as it relates to me.....)
